"RainDrops" is a choreographic piece created in Taiwan for students of the University of Taipei. Inspired by social protest movements in France, this piece explores how a people can rise up by becoming aware of collective issues. The mantra of the piece, "If tears can be seen as raindrops, wherein lies the tragedy", invites personal introspection necessary to serve the collective. How can the body and dance activate us to become determined individuals ready to mobilize and fight together against a deviant authority? The piece encourages each spectator to find their own answers and to engage actively for the common good.

It’s raining hard.
I take care of you, you take care of me.
We are walking side by side,
with the heavy rain like that.
